Tiny games, built to start before you lose interest.

PocketArcade is a browser game collection built around short sessions, immediate interaction and a deliberate retro-computing presentation. The product avoids accounts and installation as part of the core play loop: choose a game, learn the controls and start.

The design idea

The arcade borrows the visual language of old hardware—limited palettes, pixel-like geometry, cartridge framing and compact system labels—without trying to reproduce a specific historical console. The presentation is part of the product, but each cabinet still needs a clear game mechanic underneath it.

Current game direction

The collection includes games such as Moon//Lander, where the player manages a landing sequence, and Pipe//Flow, a pressure-and-routing puzzle built around connecting an inlet to an outlet. Future games can use different mechanics while keeping the same instant-play cabinet model.

Why the games stay small

PocketArcade is intentionally not a massive game portal filled with copied embeds. A small game earns its place by having a distinct mechanic, responsive controls and a presentation that feels coherent with the cabinet. That makes the collection slower to grow but easier to understand and maintain.

Browser-first behavior

The arcade is designed for modern browsers and should degrade gracefully across screen sizes. Controls, sound and animation should remain understandable on the devices a game supports. Where a specific game works better with keyboard, pointer or touch input, the game should make that requirement clear.
