SCUBE//ROOT

Privacy

Privacy at the ScubeStacks root site.

This page describes the public ScubeStacks root site. Individual products may process different data because their features differ, so visitors should also read the policy provided by the product they use.

Root-site data collection

The ScubeStacks root site is primarily a public product directory and documentation site. It does not require an account to read these pages. The site itself does not ask visitors to submit sensitive personal information.

Hosting and technical logs

Hosting, DNS, security and content-delivery providers may process ordinary technical request data such as IP address, browser or user-agent information, timestamps and requested URLs to deliver the site, detect abuse and maintain reliability. Those providers operate under their own terms and privacy practices.

Advertising and measurement

ScubeStacks may use advertising or traffic-measurement services on eligible public pages. If Google AdSense or another advertising service is enabled, that provider may use cookies or similar technologies for ad delivery, measurement, fraud prevention and, where permitted, personalization. Consent or privacy controls will be shown where legally required. Advertising is not intended to change the primary purpose of a page.

Live observatory

When this site is open, a temporary connection to our Cloudflare Worker lets the observatory show active visits. It uses Cloudflare’s country code, approximate IP-derived coordinates and the ScubeStacks product being viewed. Coordinates are rounded to a broad four-degree map cell at the Worker edge; raw coordinates are not sent to the observatory or stored by the presence service. The public feed names countries only, while dots on the globe reveal approximate areas and may be inaccurate. The connection closes when the page is hidden or closed. The observatory does not display IP addresses, exact locations or identities, and the presence service does not store visit history, cookies or persistent visitor identifiers. Product sites that participate in the observatory send the same temporary signal.

Product-specific behavior

CalcStack, PocketArcade and WayIn are separate applications with different functionality. For example, a calculator can often work without an account while a workflow product may need authentication and application data. Product-specific privacy information should be treated as the source of truth for that product.

External links

Links from ScubeStacks to product subdomains or third-party services take you to separate web properties. Their data handling may differ from this root site.

Changes and questions

This notice should be updated when the root site's data handling changes. Questions about the root site or a specific product can be routed through the options on the Contact page.
